Astrophysics:
Since childhood, astronomy fascinated me. I started as an amaeteur astronomer
or aka stargazer. From the space clubs I joined, I got interest in the theoretical part
of astronomy, the wonders hiding in the Universe in the form of Mathematics.
I have come a logn way, accessing these wonderful online resources called MOOC's, which
help me dive into this amazing world.
Music:
Engineer by profession, Musician by passion. Instrumental Music has been my passion
since childhood. The beauty of melody continues to fascinate and entrance me.
I am currently learning North Indian Classical Flute, or Bansuri,
under my Guru Shri Chandan Rastogi (disciple of Pt Hariprasad Chaurasia).
The sweet melodies that My flute(s) make me feel like dancing, or crying,
or cry with joy!
Spirituality - A way of Life:
One would say I have contradicting interests as Physics/Mathematics and Spirituality.
But I believe that spirituality is rather a beautiful way of living life.
Successful people all over the world have recognised the impact of Shrimad Bhagvat Gita in
this "modern World". And once the concept of Bhakti is imbibed in life, there seems to be nothing
more beautiful than the divine love oyu experience.
Traditional karate:
I am Black belt (1 Dan) in Traditional Shotokan Karate.
The art of harmonising the mid and the body to give the best of the energy
residing in me is what has kept me going through many problems I have faced.
It is more self-awareness then self-defense,
the warrior spirit being to fight from any obstacle both inside and outside.
Karate gives me both physical and mental strength.
