Skills I have developed over the period of time I have lived are the ones that propel me.
I need them to move forward wherever I want to go, stronger the skills, higher the thrust

And so, the Thrust of my spaceship are my skills.....

  1. Coding:

I am in one of the premier institutes for learning Computer Science - Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIITD). Here I continue to build my skill set in one of the fundamnetal skills, of the future. Currently I can code in Python, C++, Bash. I can also work in Django framework for backends of Web apps. I am completing my learning of Java and C#. Although learnig truly never stops, but there is a point where basic learning ends.
  2. Music:

Engineer by profession, Musician by passion. Instrumental Music has been my passion since childhood. The beauty of melody continues to fascinate and entrance me. I am currently learning North Indian Classical Flute, or Bansuri, under my Guru Shri Chandan Rastogi (disciple of Pt Hariprasad Chaurasia). I also have a first year degree in vocal music. Additionally, I have learnt Tabla at school for an year.
  3. Life Skills:

One of the most important skills in this so called 'modern era' is how to live life. I was introduced to the problem more when college life partially blinded me to the joys and beauties I enjoyed before college due to the change in lifestyle. Besides that, the ability to think right, the right mind training are all critical for acheiving what we truly want - happiness. And that's what my Guruji has given me over my childhood. I can never be grateful enough for the treasure he bestowed on me.
  4. Traditional karate:

I am Black belt (1 Dan) in Traditional Shotokan Karate. The art of harmonising the mid and the body to give the best of the energy residing in me isw hat has kept me going through many problems I have faced. It is more self-awareness then self-defense, the warrior spirit being to fight from any obstacle both inside and outside.
  5. Physics and Mathematics:

It is more of a hobby than a skill. But, when you are passionate about something, it is bound to become an asset. The way of thinking physics and mathematics provide, the new perspective to everything around, and the bif picture introduced by astrophysics, all fascinate me. But Astrophysics in particular is the field of physics I love. I have been using various online resources, MOOC's to grow my knowledge on Astrophysics.
  6. Public Speaking:

I was introduced to MUNning in 10th grade, and my experience in these one of a kind events gives me a good advantage at public speaking. A mixture of debate, handling people (delegates) and working as a team etc is what makes these events super. The touch of simulation as a world body gives a unique touch to the event.
